Most of us are a single event away from 
being stuck, scared, and isolated 
from people who can support us.

Reflex Social Services is a charity that provides 
trauma counselling and support for people who need it.

We provide assistance to people with disabilities through the NDIS, 
people with ongoing employment difficulties through employment service providers, 
and support to other people working in the industry.

Our goal is to create a free mobile counselling service for the people 
who need it, regardless of their finances or funding allocations.

Physical health is the sum of a person’s personal fitness and wellness

Mental health is the sum of the person's emotional and psychological well-being

Social health is the sum of a person’s:
safety net
their interpersonal resources and skills
how they interact with society
a combination of physical and mental health issues that 
impact on a person’s ability to forge and maintain strong relationships with others and their community
Just like mental health and physical health, having long term concerns can have catastrophic consequences.

Just like mental health and physical health, there are things that we can do to prevent these consequences from happening, 
and reduce their impact when they do happen.

This is Reflex’s focus.

We give real, tangible help to those who need it. We don’t tell people what they need or what their lives should look like. We listen, we learn about our clients unique circumstance, and then we deliver services to help our clients get what they need.

Our services are lead by our clients, who are valuable, interesting, whole individuals who deserve respect and outstanding service. Our clients are not the sum of the difficulties they currently have.

Our employees are genuine, relatable people. We pride ourselves on our ability to connect authentically, person to person.

Real Change

We use our services to enact real change in people’s lives, and give our clients the agency to tell us what those changes should be. We use our position to advocate for the issues that can’t be overcome alone, and use the knowledge we gain to strengthen our communities through education and support.

We don’t believe in the use of stuffy, unapproachable executives, and stilted, hyper formal language when it comes to interacting with our clients.

We believe in language you can understand, and professionals that ask “how are you doing today?” and actually care about the answer.


We’re not here to tell people how they should live their lives, or to take control of people and their actions “for their own good”.

We practice a client-first approach to help, where we find out what our clients need and help them achieve their goals, allowing them their independence and a sense of agency over their interactions with us.
